Results of the social campaign "Attention to the Road!"

The social campaign was aimed at all road users: drivers (beginners, experienced and professional), pedestrians (small children, their parents, students, schoolchildren), cyclists.

Depending on the audience, we applied different approaches, considering the topic of attention: seminars, trainings, TV and radio spots, press conferences, interactive games, performances, special projects with information portals Forbes, Pikabu, RBC, Komsomolskaya Pravda.

We have hosted over 2000 events. They took place in driving schools, transport enterprises, shopping and entertainment centers, educational institutions, at gas stations.

We talked about distraction from different angles:
- from the point of view of the science of physiology (about how our attention is arranged, and why a person cannot hold a large number of objects in his "operative memory" and at the same time remain in focus).
- from the point of view of psychology: driving a car is communication with the world. We also conveyed the idea that it was no longer fashionable to expose ourselves and others to danger (in the 90s, no one was wearing a seat belt precisely because it was unfashionable).

We taught drivers and pedestrians how to best practice being in the moment (being aware of each of their actions in traffic), which is so beneficial for the psyche, and avoiding "autopilot mode" (a function of the passive brain mode).

For many, it was a discovery that everyday, everyday, habitual actions for us are distractions and pose a threat.
The implementation of the social campaign showed that the audience is very interested in the topic of attention. Being attentive means managing your life, time, future!
