However, the adults do not always use restraining gear when they take children aboard a car. To remind parents that children should be sitting in child seats inside cars a wide-scale campaign started in Russia on November 1, 2011; its title is “Child Seat to Children». This social campaign is aimed at ensuring safe children driving inside cars and to bring down the statistics on juvenile fatality and injury rate during motor vehicle accidents. The campaign targets the parent audience to convict it to drive children only in children seats.
Starting with November 1 a video clip “Child Seat to Children” began broadcasted on federal and cable channels as well as shown in cinema theaters.

«We did our best to make this video equally interesting for adults and for children. Its principal character is a child seat which – among other toys – is waiting in a shop its young owner – said the Deputy Head of the Legal Control and Safe Road Traffic Propaganda Directorate in Russian Traffic Police lieutenant-colonel Vladimir Shevchenko. Out main objective was to demonstrate that the child seat is more important for children than toys as in dramatic situation it is this seat rather than a teddy bear will protect the life and health of a child».
