All patrol cars in the State Traffic Police squads of Adygeya Republic are equipped with dashboard recorders

The work was accomplished in Adygeya Republic on equipping all patrol cars in the Traffic Police Squad by dashboard cameras. This equipment was purchased using the republican budget. The purchase involved 77 instruments to the sum of approximately 800 thousand rubles.
The police colonel Alia Chinazirov of the Head of the Traffic Police in the region shares his opinion with journalists. According to him the engineering novelty on one hand will allow avoiding the conflicting issues with drivers who disagree with decisions taken by inspectors. On the other hand it will improve discipline among policemen. The specificity of the instrument of video recording deals with the fact that they record not only what happens on the road, but also record what develops inside the patrol car including the audio recordings of discussions held in the car.
The video recording begins with the moment the patrol car starts patrolling until it gets back to the police garage. All data are kept during three months. The leadership of the Republican Ministry of Internal Affairs is resolute that the dashboard cameras will allow making the work on finding stolen cars more active. The same equipment will assist in apprehending wanted people.
