Ambulance car did not make it to the hospital

The accident occurred in the morning of September 16 in Moscow at the intersection of Sebastopol and Nakhimov avenues. An ambulance car and three other foreign makes collided: Volvo, Volkswagen and Honda. Serious injuries were sustained by paramedic and the patient who was transported to the hospital. Another ambulance had to be called to transportation the casualties of the MVA – the paramedic and the patient whose medical status hardly improved due to the unexpected development.
Because of this accident involving four vehicles at the hallmark of the rash-hour a several mile long traffic jam was formed in the south-west of Moscow. It took traffic quite a while to get back to normal.
There were several MVA’s involving ambulance cars during last month.
