The same route cause resulted in the other MVA in the evening of 2 October. At the 3-d km mark of highway Turinsk - Blagoveshshenskoye a 23-year-old driver of Hyundai Accent having a year driving experience dodging a head-on collision turned the steering wheel to the left then sharply swung to the wheel to the right. The car skidded to the roadside, and then the car slid into the ditch and turned over several times. The windshield was broken, the roof was buckled and the car body was seriously deformed. Inside the car was the driver’s 2-year-old son. The kid was sitting in a safety car seat. This saved the little passenger from sustaining serious injuries and bruises. The child was not hurt.
